I dont think it is possible to sleep at OXB just because you're not let in the building unless you have a valid ticket for a plane that is just about to leave within 20 minutes :D
there is no security afterwards. it's no problem to bring a thermonuclear bomb on board

"I arrived at the airport several hours ahead of my flight, but there was no way one could get into the airport until about an hour before flight time. As the passengers gathered, we waited outside. There was a narrow concrete wall to sit on near the entrance, and at some distance from the door, I think there were some benches. This is a very poor country!"
