"Arrived at 4:30 am after VERY interesting train ride from Tangiers (just my friend and I and she looked local enough that she had to get covered up in Tangiers so people would quit spitting on us). There are TWO train stations in Rabat - we got off at the one in the center of town. Station is very empty - not many places to sit and DEFINITELY not a place for two women to spend any sort of extended time... If you go out the front doors and to your left (across the street) there is a hotel. If it is locked keep pounding on the door and they will let you in. Tell them you are students, look pathetic, and they will give you a room at not a bad price. Better then staying in the station."
