To enter this far-reaching network of over 1000 lounges, you’ll either hold a first/business class ticket or have to have achieved the Gold Star ranking within its program. Lounge Access Requirements

  • Star Alliance Gold customers travelling in any class on a member carrier
  • First-class international or domestic ticket with a member airline
  • Business class international or domestic ticket with a member airline
  • Paid lounge memberships (United Club, Air Canada Maple Leaf Club)

How to Join

To join the program, you have to start collecting points with your preferred airline’s frequent flier program. You will be automatically awarded Gold or Silver status with Star Alliance once you reach the premium levels of your particular frequent flier program.
