ATHENS (El Venizelos), Greece (Contributed by Neenah Lewis)
"November 2003 - Due to a delay of my flight to Australia I had to stay the whole day and night at the airport.  I couldn't afford the taxi fare back to the hotel and the overnight stay at the hotel again.  I spent Hours on the internet then walked up and down the huge airport. I went window shopping through the expensive stores.  There is a reason for the loud speaker announcements.  People can be be hearing-impaired.  Have you ever thought of that?  The bathrooms were very clean.  At some remote ones I had the chance of having a shower as well.  The security staff are friendly but with the recent bombings in Turkey they should be alert.  What really annoyed me, was a British couple sat outside at the benches and the young lass decided to raise her trousers up to her thighs and dry-shave her legs with shaving foam.  Are they allowed to do that in Heathrow?"
