A small airstrip in the Kelabit highlands in Central Borneo, which is served by Maswings with a small Twin Otter plane from Miri. One of the few airports in the world, which can be reached by walking from the main village within 10 minutes over a non paved road . Basic seats are available, but often occupied. No Starbucks and no other F&B facilities, but who needs it ? Entertainment ? The friendly local people will be happy to communicate with fellow passengers. No freezing air-con, just fresh mountain air. Airport closes early afternoon.
