"The whole railway station has been demolished! Trains now depart from a little halt 5km away at Makhinjauri which has almost nowhere to wait inside let alone to sleep. There is a beach just across the tracks from this point, but while settling down on my Karimat, I was disturbed by some locals with a dog. Georgians tend to take you home and look after you rather than attack but you never know!"
