Fukuoka Airport

Lasting Impressions....

Memorable comments left by travellers:

"I sank down into my comfy seat and tried vaguely to hide - and then claimed all innocence when accosted by an airport employee who in turn called the police - the airport police,  that is!" (Selina Hallam)

"International terminal was pretty much empty. I found a nice place to sleep behind a wall of artwork on the top floor of the check-in area. Not the most comfortable seats as they aren't overly padded but decent enough to sleep on."

my first trip abroad, and my friend and i had not planned the last night. thought the best answer was to stay in the airport. we set up camp and 15 minutes later security is telling us to leave. she was nice and even called a hotel for us... but we were still too cheap to stay at the hotel.. ended up finding a park couple park benches... not sure how much sleep i got but it makes for a good start to my travel years

Travel Sites

  • Hostels and Budget Accommodation in Fukuoka - I've booked my own accommodation on this site. If you are too old for hostels and too cheap for hotels, like me, you'll find some good properties. They offer dorms, private rooms, B&Bs, Apartments.
