Janakpur Airport
On my departure I realised the full horror of CGK. There are virtually no seats, leaving passengers to sit around on the floor, & on their baggage. - Adam C.

"Due to a flight delay, I have had the immense opportunity to spend 3 hours in Janakpur airport (Southern Nepal) on February 25th 2003. Well, it is a shack in the middle of fields. In fact, because of the climate, the fields are quite nice to sleep. With my friend, we just laid there with our jackets as pillows from 8.15 to11.15. Of course, people were a bit surprised to see 2 European girls having a nap there but it is definitely the best place to sleep. Inside the airport there is some benches that could also be used to sleep but the proximity with the toilets is not so enjoyable. I would rate that airport : fair Anyway, that's an experience !!."
