Hongqiao is the domestic airport for Shanghai, if you have a connection from the international airport allow about 2 hours to go from the Pudong Maglev station downtown to Hongqiao -- taxi is the best best way. At Hongqiao itself there doesn't appear to be a place to sleep, and it's awfully crowed anyway. Flights are posted in Chinese and English. If your flight is delayed or cancelled (as mine was) the staff at the airline service desk are helpful.
