"Heya, everyone told me I was a little crazy on travelling to Manaus on the 9-11, but dates are something for you to keep on the diary. Val-de-Cans is a nice place. Its new (the old airport has been demolished and a brand new one was built in 1999) and its perfect for a nap. The air conditioning is just fine (specially in a HOT city like Belem), the chairs are great, there are 2 bars open all night and - check it out - they even have an arcade lounge!!! It was amazing, spent 13 hours in there waiting for my flight to Manaus, but it was fine. A tip: the restaurants on the 2nd floor have local dishes for reasonable prices. Try the Tacaca, just fine! Give it 2 smiling faces!!!"
