Traveller Comments....

"He kept making the same comments towards me about looking lonely and how pretty I was until I hid out in the (dirty) bathrooms until my flight boarded. " (Laura)

"they decided that my purple duck tape (in my carry-on) was a security threat. " (Travelinchick19)

"The airport looks like what you would expect an airport to look like in a fourth world country. " (?)

"When you land, you are greeted by one of any number of angry Belizeans in a uniform, (the uniform makes them better than you, remember that)." (?)

I arrived here, on my first ever trip out of the US. Security/ customs was friendly and very quick. On departure back to the US my plane was delayed and the wait was a bit long. The Departure lounge was very crowded, but there were enough seats, no possibility of being able to sleep though, due to few seats to stretch out in and the noisy passengers all talking. The airport itself was small but clean enough. Bathrooms were fine. There were a few shops to browse in while waiting. Really not a bad experience at all.

Not bad really. We had a really long wait and couldn't check in our bags, but a friendly person from the airline we'd flown in on offered to look after our bags for a couple of hours. Might sound dodgy, but we took them up on it and bags were safely looked after. Small and a bit cramped, but the prices at the shops weren't hiked up. Check in people not like the friendly Belizeans we'd grown accustomed to. Bathrooms spotlessly clean."
