"Flew into St.Lucia from Barbados at one in the afternoon. After going through the laid-back customs officials, walked out the entrance to the airport and found a tropical beach on the other side of the road. I'm talking 20 metres away! Good reggae emanating from the few rum shacks that were on the grass above the beach... stretched out under a coconut palm and got a solid nap in before strolling back across the road and onto my connecting flight 5 hours later.Most people jump straight into taxis so the beach is usually empty. Castries was superb!"
