We went to Martinique for a week end and had an early flignt the morning of the departure. The airport was small. When we arrived, we asked a security member if it was allowed to stay over night in the airport. He answered that it's forbidden, but that sometimes they will let some people stay if, eg, they have a very early flight. He also said that not all the staff would allow people to stay overnight, so basically you need to talk to the right guys. At first we were at the ground floor, then we went upstairs where there was nobody else. There were chairs together without armrests, which allowed us to lay down on them easily. The only down side was the many little holes and the slope of the buckets.
