"Security was even worse as they confiscating my tweezers, bottled water, pringles container, and incense (I purchased it in Guatemala). I questioned the lady to why she was taking these things and she pretended not to hear me." (Laura)

I arrived late in Guatemala City (after midnight) from Honduras by bus, thus instead going to a hostel I went directly to the airport. it was already closed but they opened the doar and asked me what time did my flight take-off (about 09:00am). it was enough early so I could sleep there. the airport was totally empty, just me, another guy sleeping there too and two police officers. I layed down in a corner and could sleep until about 5. then I used the WC and surprise, surprise, it was very clean and new. the only problem: there were no bars or other facilities. btw, good impression!
