"I had to stay in Rio Gallegos like almost every traveller in Argentina that goes to Ushuaia or El Calafate. I had to stay there for 6 hours (twice!!!) so I am not a big fun of this terminal... it sucks and there is nothing to do in the area (if you're hungry go to the gas station nearby because in the terminal they sell only snacks and magazines...) I would recommend staying in the gas station's cafe as much as you can (they have good coffe there) I spent most of the time there in my second time in Rio Gallegos and I killed the remaining hours sitting in the terminal and learning Spanish from a local guy that called himself Angel Gabriel. I was exhausted after no sleep the previous night and many travellers crashed on the floor with their backpacks no problem... I didn't sleep much because of angel Gabriel and a puppy that took my attention but I had 20 more hours to travel to my next destination with a really good bus so that wasn't a problem... overnight be careful of weird and sometimes harmfull people..."
