I padlocked my bag to a bench in case I fell asleep.

"Had to catch a plane at 7am, but the airport was closed, so I slept in the bus terminal, in a really shady part of town but it was open. A very scary night, large cavernous concrete station, pretty much alone except for some odd looking drifters, no buses leaving or arriving, padlocked my bag to a bench in case I fell asleep. I read "Catcher in the Rhye" in about 3 hours, just to have something to do. Wouldn't recommend it (or any other peruvian bus-terminal) unless you're really hard up."
