"I slept at the Curacao airport the night of december 19 2001 by necessity. My plane Canada 3000 was no show three times that night 8.15 p.m. 11.30 p.m. and 2.oo p.m. There are only THREE benches, somewhat hard inside the departure hall. Nobody bothered me. My valuables I checked into a locker-a good investment, because now I had a quiet night. Washrooms only yards away and from to time I got up. Had a careful walk around the building. The temperature was balmy, no problem. In the morning I had a mini-freshup in the washroom and the plane arrived at 7.3o a.m. of the next dayNow I look back upon it as an interesting experience."

"I arrived in Curacao in July 2000 on an ALM flight and was supposed to depart for Port of Spain, Trinidad in 2 hours time. As usual, there was a creeping delay, which turned into 6 hours. As I was a transit passenger, I stayed in the Departure lounge. I stretched out across six hard plastic seats that were shaped for sitting, not sleeping! I used my carry on for a pillow. I was soon asleep, bright lights and all. A security guard woke me 4 hours later and said that my flight was boarding, or else I would have missed it!"

so, just how bad is this airport?
