"OK, so it wasn't grotty - it was just BORING! It's not a 24 hour airport, so there is NO-ONE there after midnight. Apart from occasional cleaners, who either found us highly amusing or just plain suspicious. We got there stressed and in need of a coffee/chocolate, and couldn't get either - no shops open. The toilet lights were switched off, so it's either pee in the dark or wait. All was well after about 6am though, because we then got people, lights in the loos, pain au chocolat, and comfy seats beyond the security barriers. Just dont book an early flight unless you can get to the airport in time that morning!"
