"NEVER ever in your life be at the bordeaux railway station in the middle of the night, its in a bad neighbourhood (drug addicts, hookers, homeless,...), everything is closed!!!,...
We got dropped off by a eurolines bus coming from spain, in bordeaux at 3 o'clock at night!!! VERY bad!! Eurolines doesn't have a real bus station there! so got dropped off next to the road, we though oooh the railway station is just there, cross the street, MAN bad decision !! We were scared!!! walked in and saw alot of homeless!! quickly walked back out and decided to spend the night on the street... There was an expensive hotel (owner very unfriendly) we couldn't even sit on the stairs!! so just sitting on our backpacks for a while, trying not to fall asleep, drug addicts trying to talk to us... hmm not very nice... After more then an hour this very friendly guy cycles by, coming back from a concert, saying to us: okay girls what's happening?!? He invited us to his house, he had a spare room coz his roommate was on tour... Woow a real bed, safe home!!! Thanks Arnaud!!!! We were saved (once again haha) So i really don't recommend the railway station and streets of bordeaux @ night!!!! C yah! Mieke."
