I arrived to Brussels National Airport at about 4pm. After that I wanted to rest for couple of hours,but I was too cheap for hotel. So I decided to stay at Brussels National Airport overnight.
I arrived at about 11pm, there were couple of people waiting for the last plane departing at about 11.30pm. The best place to stay I could locate were some hard metal benches with armrests on 3rd floor. I slept for about 4-5 hours (at about 4am the airport was already full of people waiting for charter flights) with approx. 20 other people on the 3rd floor, but it surely wasn't the best night of my life because the benches with armrests.
The airport was clean and security didn't bother me at all, cleaning staff was quiet as well. There are also some lockers for your luggage on 2nd floor. All the shops at the airport are open till 11pm and first one (some bistro on 4th floor) opens at 4am so You cannot buy any food during the night.
