"Firstly I should say that Dingle bus station in Kerry, southern Ireland, is not a station in the conventional line of bus stations. It's really a whole load of buses that date from the fifties upwards, huddled together hiding from the in-terminable Irish rain. The best time to make use of this excellent facility is when Dingle is very busy during holidays or when you have recently been evicted from your Guest House for excessive alcohol consumption. The buses are comfortable and the early morning wake-up call rarely comes before afternoon. If you rise early, forget Africa, Asia or the middle-east for freakshows .... go to an early morning pub in Ireland and sample the full spectrum of demented disfigured socio-paths and garalous cretins eagerly swilling pints before the sun has even dared to interrupt their night.
