"As this airport is still missing from the big list, here the facts: A quite small airport in germanies eastern city, completely renovated, has 1 main hall, NO nighttime flights and hardly anyone who would need to make connections anyway. ONLY domestic flights in DE, plus charters to the mediterranean etc. for holidays. Slept over on a fri/sat night, and as 1 of these charters was some 4 hrs late on arrival, many people were waiting for friends etc. There is a 24-hr bar/cafe, not cheap. On the 1st floor (=2nd for Americans) there is the best sleeping near the Car-Rentals: padded seats without armrests. Also a bit away from the noisy excalators. Uniformed borderstaff were walking up/down many times, but did not disturb. Trains serve this airport ev. 30 mins daytime from the Main station, also some buses."
