"Cafeteria Balcony. In and out of season, the Fabriano youth hostel is no longer open to individuals (as of 2005). Therefore, use the cafeteria over the road from the station. Looking at the cafeteria from the station, you will see a balcony leading down the left hand side of the building. Follow that around the back and you will find a private sleeping spot, complete with pot plant (Americans read: potted plant) to urinate in, should you have the urge. There are no doors leading on to this balcony, so you can sleep there even before the cafeteria closes. Just keep low. The sleeper is well hidden by a waist height concrete wall (instead of the usual steel railings). Please note, this balcony has no rain cover. "
