"Those travellers using a German train ticket (first class) or owning a so called "bahn. comfort"-card (special railway pass) of the Deutsche Bahn can use the "bahn comfort lounge" at the airport's train station. There is extra space with sleeping seats and blankets, there is free coffee and tea, and you are near the connecting trains. "

"After arriving late on a Ryanair flight to Frankfurt Hahn, we soon realised that the airport was no where near Frankfurt. We missed the last train out to Munich after a ball-breaking bus ride to the main train station so decided to rough it. the only seating provided was a small kind of bus shelter which housed metal seating with those annoying armrests that everyone knows about! The security guards constantly rounded up anybody who tried to stray out of the box to perhaps find somewhere comfy and made frequent checks of both passports and onward tickets and toss out anybody who didnt have one. Attempting to sleep with my head between my knees cocooned in my sleeping bag the silence was broken by the street sweeper and an elderly English woman with compulsive obsessive disorder and a fetish for plastic bags. Not a very good sleep all in all but really entertaining."
