Leeds Train Station

I know it's not an airport but I've spent a couple of nights at Leeds train station after nights out in the bars.
For those with light luggage may I suggest heading to Gatecrasher for a few hours. It's open until 6am on a Saturday and has a cloakroom you can leave your luggage in.
The actual train station is pretty quiet at night. The few seats they have all come with metal armrests so the floor is the best option.
I'd recommend heading down to the section outside Starbucks and Macdonalds as it is marginally warmer and more peaceful.
The place feels quite safe as there are staff around throughout the night, and very few others.
We met some friendly Kiwi guys who stopped and chatted for a while (while we were still trying to stay awake) and there were some kids about 14 or 15 that showed up around 6am when Macdonalds opened.
The Macdonalds is the best thing about sleeping in the station. If you get there early there are two padded benches in the corner that are perfect for a quick sleep. There are also newspapers available to read and of course, food.
The entire station stays fairly quiet until about 7am when the trains actually start running, and you can pretty much guarantee you won't be disturbed.
I've stayed there twice now, and would again if I didn't now have friends with free sofas in the city.
