"I had to sleep at Nantes train station while waiting for a transfer from Quimper to Paris, which would then take me to a bus, which would take me to Beauvais airport for a Ryanair flight back to Ireland. I arrived at around 10 pm and found a metal seat, comfortable enough and also quite warm since it was February. Decided to leave my bag under some seats in the lounge while i went into the city centre to get something to eat. Was followed all around the city by some foreign man. Got lost trying to lose him and ended up in a Greek take away where a family dispute broke out, nearly knocking me over. ate my food on the way back to the train station at around midnight. The bomb squad were there and told me to stay on the other side of the street. Luckily i speak french so told them i couldnt stay away from the train station as my bag was in there. Your blue bag? they said. yes says i, i left my blue bag in the station as there was no bag handling facility. they took my passport details while they made me stand on the other side of a van and pulled my bag out on a rope. they asked me to identify the name written on the bag before they would let me see it and then repeatedly asked me what was in the bag. they were pretty annoyed with me since they had evaculted the whole area thinking someone had left a bomb. i then sussed out that this was why there was a security guard with a sniffer dog roaming around the place all night. since i could no longer sleep in the station i decided to go to the local park to get some rest. the entire park was walled, gated and pretty creepy looking so i wandered around aiMain Lobby / Check-in Countersessly looking for a bench. couldnt find any around the area and my bag was fairly heavy so i camped in someone's garden. took out all my clothes and either put them on, under or over me. i was fairly comfortable and not too cold. didnt sleep a wink. the only problem was when two guys pulled up in a broken down beat up car and decided to park it on the road side right where i was sleeping. "
