"I did not know of Norwich Airport until it was mentioned in the listings of a cheap flight website. It is extremely cheap to fly from and cute in size - Budgie the Helicopter would choose this place as its home. There are two tiny luggage carousels and no sooner are you through the entrance are you at the gate (there are just three). Staff are friendly and hospitable. Downside is the connections from Norwich station. An hourly bus runs Monday to Saturday only, however I caught the park and ride airport bus from the city centre for a 1 fare - Bus stop is a ten minute walk from station to Castle Point by the shops. Bus takes only 10 minutes from city centre to airport. However there are no buses whatsoever from the airport on a sunday - a black cab cost me 11.There is one duty free shop but don't buy the toiletries, a roll on sure deodorant costs 2.25 !!! As for sleeping at the airport, it would be warm and cosy like someone's front room - the lounge is carpetted. But you would need a sleeping bag as the seats are hard and have gaps in between."
