Norvara Train Station

"Okay, well... I had some time off the working guest job I was working at the time in Pettenasco (North of Milan) so I decided to head to Venice for a couple days and find a hostel to stay at. When the first night came I noticed that a train ticket to Rome was the same price as the hostel, and that the ride was about 8 or 9 hours which is a pretty solid night's sleep. I got a nice comfortable seat on the train and thought I was set, until some old Italian gentlemen came into my compartment and started yelling at me in Italian (which would be a recurring theme). It turned out he had a reserved seat, for the very one I was in, and by this point no seats remained. I ended up sleeping in the aisle, but people were milling up and down it all night so I maybe got an hour sleep total (more yelling directed my way). I didn't sleep at all in Rome, and due to an Albanian woman who was stalking me somewhat on the return trip to Milan, not much on the train ride back. To get to Pettenasco you have to take the train from Milan to Novara, and then on to Pettenasco, but the train stops running around 11 or something, and I got there after that, very exhausted. The train station had no staff but was still open, and several homeless people (or so it seemed, though I probably seemed the same by this point) were sleeping on benches inside. I tried to do the same in a couple areas (first by the ticket counter then at the departure bay) and eventually fell asleep. When I awoke, I was running down a back alley, terrified of some unknown foe. I was also under the impression that I was somebody else. It's hard to remember exact details, as I was in a dreamlike state (keep in mind I was heavily sleep deprived). All in all, it was a terrible few days of sleep (or non-sleep), but I had a good time, spent nothing on accomodation and have some good stories (many of which were not touched on here)."
