Bus station is closed at midnight 'til 6 in the morning, but we could convince the security guy to lock us in so we could get some sleep. we were told where we were allowed to stay - narrow, hard benches right next to the toilet. awful smell plus noise of cleaning machines all night long. at 6 they woke us up and we tried to get some more sleep on different benches, announcements and security would make it impossible though. Still the experience was not too bad, we felt as safe as you could possibly feel. People in the cafe don't know how to make tea with milk, but at least we had a good laugh when we saw the teabag swimming in the pot of milk.

For a panoramic view of the airfield, head up to the top floor of the Quax-Hangar. The building has been designed to resemble the wing of an airplane. There is also a bistro called "Triebwerk". Location: follow signs towards the "Airport Forum". Hours: 9am - 10pm (Sun - Thurs) and 9am - 12am (Fri & Sat)
