Eateries and shops close in the evening, so plan accordingly if you are planning to spend the night in this airport. WiFi is available to help you pass the time.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airline Lounges

If you are a First or Business Class traveller you may have access to the lounge listed below. For more information, check the airline’s web site.

Business Lounge – Location: Airside, Gate 5. Lounge Access: restricted to passengers with Lufthansa Business Class tickets or holders of airberlin Gold and Silver Card.

Free internet is available at Paderborn Airport for 3 hours. Connect to the “Telekom Network”, registration is required.

Airport Tours – The airport offers both daytime and nighttime tours. A minimum group size must be met. Rates start at Rates start at 10,00€/person/day tour and a weekend rate of 20,00€ is also applicable.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, across from the Information Desk.

Baby Care Facilities – Baby change facilities are located throughout the airport, 5 in total, if you require extra diapers or a bottle heater you contact the information desk or other staff members.

Duty Free & Shopping – Duty-Free shopping is available airside, while Airportshop offers snacks, beverages, souvenirs, and other last-minute items for purchase. Both are located airside, and are open 2.5 hours before 1st flight departure until the last flight departure of the day.

Food & Drinks – At the time of this update there were no 24-hour food and beverage concessions. Here are the options:

  • Landside: Quax Food* restaurant and outdoor terrace. * This location closes between 8:30PM and 11:00PM only, and the airport suggests that depending on flight requirements it “sometimes it’s always open” • Baerlin Curry (Ground floor).
  • Airside: Baerlin Curry Bistro Lounge (Gate 4)
  • Observation Deck: Panolo offers a bar, bistro and lounge. See Observation Deck below.

Information Desk – If you have any questions, there is an information desk to provide assistance. Location: Landside, Ground Floor, Center of Terminal. Hours: open 24 hours.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Mobile Charging – Charge your mobile devices at charging points located on the Airside.

Observation Deck – For a panoramic view of the airfield, head up to the top floor of the Quax-Hangar. The building has been designed to resemble the wing of an airplane. There is also a bistro on-site. Location: follow signs towards the “Airport Forum”. Hours: 11:00AM – 8:00PM Sunday only.

Prayer Room – A room of silence is available for prayer. Aadditionally there is a muslim prayer room. Location: Ground Floor.

Travel Agencies – If you are arriving in Paderborn and need local arrangements or help planning a really last minute trip abroad, there are a number of travel agencies with offices at the airport that can probably be of assistance. Alltours Reisecenter • DER Reisebüro • ISIK Touristik • Jupiter Reisen • L’Tur • Sonnenklar. All travel agencies are open 7 days a week with reduced hours on Sundays.

Bus
