"Some friends & I got stranded there in the evening of the Ascention of the Virgin Mary (August something) with no place to stay & no hope of getting a hotel due to the holiday. The train station there is basically just a covered stop: no walls. So we slept out on the pavement. The "accommodations" kind of sucked, but it was small-town safe, there were no cops disturbing us, & there was an ice cream machine nearby. It wasn't the Plaza Hotel, but it could have been much worse."
