"Plane from Cairo to Sofia was redirected here due to bad weather. All planes due in the Sofia airport landed at this rural airport. Considering they had very basic facilities, the staff on the ground did a reasonable job. Lots of angry and aggressive passengers gave the ground staff a hard time and they (rightly so) gave as good as they got back. They were very helpful to the few passengers who just left them alone to get thieir job done and even cracked a smile to the less hassled passengers. It was snowing, very cold and everyone stood in a concrete box of an airport with no windows smoking. "
