"We were coming back from a 3,000 km bike expedition, and we had just been through 24h of train from Narvik in Norway(without beds). we had to wait in Stockholm for one night, to catch our train back to France. Our bikes were in big cardboard cases, so our mobility was reduced : we wanted to sleep in the international bus station or the railway station (close one to eachother). However, because of the amazing number of tramps in Stockholm, they close both between 1am and 3am. So we had to move outside, and sleep like tramps in a building site nearby (the site security guy told us to leave at the beginning but finally let us by compassion). We were utterly exhausted and quite cold...at 3 am, we went back to the bus station, a security officer told us to stay seated, we were not allowed to lay down on the benches, although there wasn't anyone !!! at 6 o clock, the railway station opened, and we eventually had the opportunity to sleep for a few hours...."
