- showers

"I went on a month-long trip to Italy with a friend in April of 1996, and we decided to go on a side trip to Zagreb on the overnight train from Trieste. We slept overnight on the train through Slovenia. The car was set up with individual rooms with benches facing each other, so there was even a little bit of privacy. The only minus was being woken up in the middle of the night by armed guards. When we got to Zagreb it was still very early, so we slept on the floor of the train station. It was reasonably quiet and we were left alone. The best part was that there were showers in the station, so we didn't have to wander around the city smelling bad. Zagreb is a beautiful city, and we spent most of the day loafing around the city, going to cafes, etc... Overall it was a pretty good experience."
