Krakow Airport Review

(Guest Review) Could be the fact there is work going on at this airport. But it is the worst airport we have been at in recent years. You have no access to any of the main duty free shops, but have to watch others travellers in different lounges being able to shop whilst there are limited facilities (Gate 3 and 4). There is a steel roller shutter closed off between the lounge and the shops. Limited food. Prepacked low quality food from the one kiosk. The staff are totally disinterested, and spent more time chatting to their colleages, and couldn't be bothered serving. Then the woman on the 'I Love Krakow' stand was unpleasant and so rude. It became the entertainment - with all the travellers watching how rude she was to people, and fed up facial expressions. She even told off one customer because she said she wasn't ready to serve them ye continued >>

Krakw Airport was OK if you are in a pinch

by creativetravler (October, 2009)

Reason for Stay: Too cheap for a hotel room
Where: Landside and Airside
Pros: clean, no hassles by staff, nice bathrooms, no armrests on some chairs
Cons: boring

I slept at the Krakw Airport in 2009. It was fine and rather small and cozy. No hassles from airport workers.

You can't feel lonely

by stranger (March, 2010)

Reason for Stay: No Money
Where: Landside

I spent a quite good night at this airport. Arrived at 11.30 pm and stayed there till 10 am. There is a restaurant-cafeteria opened all night on the second floor, so you can eat or drink anything at any time. Food's good and quite cheap and the TV is on throughout the night, but not very loud so you can sleep without any problem. Several seats without armrest and good temperature. The night just flew by!

good to sleep

by imitationoflife (November, 2009)

Reason for Stay: Other
Where: Landside

On the ground floor there are places for you to sleep but they're too eye-catching as located in the main corridor in front of the check-ins. There's a better place to sleep on the 1st floor but still too few benches, which were quite uncomfortable but satisfactory. Guards were checking the place all over for the whole night so we felt safe, even with not so much luggage with us.

(Contributed by ?) "You can sleep on the 1st floor, where the stores are. They're closed during the night, so if you have a sleeping bag the whole floor is yours! Nobody seems the guard the place so you can sleep there for the whole night. Dont try the ground floor, there only few seats." Added 04 Jul 03
