Reason for Stay: Weather/airline delay
Where: Airside
Pros: Not so crowded, laid back atmosphere, free wifi
Cons: Far from city, ancient infrastructure, not much choice of food
Vultures circling around the landfills surrounding the airport might close the airspace for several hours in the morning or evening. If you are waiting for an international flight and are caught in this situation after you pass through security and immigration, you will find absolutely nowhere to eat! I can't imagine sleeping in this airport overnight...As far as I know, there are no overnight flights, so the airport must close after the last flight lands...
International arrivals is chaos. Lines are long to go through customs and immigration. Having said that, for domestic flights, it's not a bad experience...Was this Helpful?

Reason for Stay: Checking in and had to wait
Where: Landside and Airside
This is a farely not modern airport. It still has old customs, check in and secuity machines. THe waiting area is also uncomfortable.Was this Helpful?
