Socotra Airport

I flew both in and out of Socotra Airport. It is small bare-bones airport. To enter, one goes through luggage and security screening, then to airline desk to weigh luggage. After that, another security check with manual patdown before entry into departure lounge. There is a refreshment shop in the lounge and washrooms which were clean with flush toilets. Seating consists of rows of plastic molded seats. Can't see how anyone can sleep in the terminal as there is only one flight in and out of Socotra every day (I've heard that now there are two airlines doing daily flights - Felix and Yemenia) but since this is an end-of-the line destination, I can't see anyone using this airport to transit. Staff very friendly and has kept the terminal clean and tidy.
