Iqaluit Airport

"One must keep expectations modest in the Canadian North. Airport terminal buildings, where they exist, are modest and functional. Iqaluit's airport being among the largest, has it distractions. The main area of the terminal is filled with interesting displays of Inuit art past and present. There is an adjacent gift shop that proves that the Canadian Arctic is not immune from the blight of cheesy touristy gifts such as picture key chains, overpriced chocolates and t-shirts. Since there is minimal seating anywhere in the building, if you want to stretch out you will have to settle for slumping over a heating vent."
