"Well.. Just want to recommend you guys not to ever sleep in that terminal!!! I mean.. you can stay for a while if you are waiting for a connection, but its not worth spending 4 hours just sitting there!!!! its not like a nice place where people would like to spend their money!! ... And don't even think about spending the night there!!!... Well. I've done it once.. but I live close to monterrey.. so I know how things are, pluses my bus arrived around 1 am, and the next departing one was at 6am.. so that's why I stayed, I had no choice!. But there is something that most of the people don't know.!
Last I knew, there are 2 VIP Lobbies or sections in the terminal. one is in the first floor, and if you walk trough the terminal you will be able to see it, And its for the people who will travel in Turistar Ejecutivo, and like other 3 bus lines. And the other one its in the second floor. Its for passengers who will travel in and bus line o GRUPO SENDA: (Tamaulipas, Cohauilenses, etc). And they are actually nice.
I mean, they are not that luxurious as an airport VIP. but they have nice seats where you can actually lay down, they have TVs with cable, they have AC, and its just another atmosphere than what is downstairs on the normal section of the terminal.
if you go to one of those, you can plan on ^^spending^^ whatever amount of hours you will spend in the airport with more security!. There are like 2 Guards in the Doors check-in up so you can kinda sleep better!.
But my recommendation is... If you plan to spend the night in Monterrey... Why not save... 40-50 Bucks! and enjoy the night in one of the beautiful hotels in downtown monterrey!..
But anyways.. thats my little advice.Hope it helps!"
