Just had a good sleep in Victoria International, BC, Canada. At about 1am the airport 'closes' until 3am, but the guard who found us lying on the chairs in the terminal (and who we thought was going to tell us to leave) offered to take us upstairs to the viewing platform lounge! It was quiet, we pulled about 12 seat cu...sions off of the leather chairs and made a huge bed on the ground, we flipped a couch over to use as a headrest and we had a spotless bathroom right next door. Lesson for next time: If you want to sleep at YYJ, ask the guards if there is somewhere out-of-the-way which you can use, just because the terminal downstairs is closed for cleaning etc, doesn't mean you can't still be elsewhere in the airport.
