PROS - "Nice comfortable couches with actual pillows, Lax security in the supply closets lets to borrow a blanket, International Concourse dimly lit after 10:00, The security guards are nice people and they patrol the airport every 10 minutes or so, Bathrooms are clean and always have lots of space, Airport management doesn't mind that much, 24 hour coffee/cafe shop open, Quiet, Clean, New airport CONS - Only about 10 couches, so you've got to be lucky and No real fast food places (McDonalds, Burger King, etc.) "

"Well, Hobart Airport is a 30 minute (approx) drive from the actual Hobart city (Tasmania Capital). A taxi ride from he city would cost you about 20/25. I couldn't afford this. So I got friends to drop me off the night before my 6am flight. I spent about 6 hours there waiting... waiting... waiting. There is only one fast food shop and it was closed. No bars, no tv, and the security kept trying to make conversation with me, which was nice, but I was drunk and sobering up to a hangover. The chairs are plastic with backs that barely support the lumbar region and have armrests so you can't stretch out. It isn't an international airport any more. Flights to New Zealand have been cancelled for almost a decade. It's bloody cold down there. Take a book, food, or anything to keep you entertained. "
