I had no problems at this airport - the ticket counters don't open till the morning, but there are comfortable chairs nearby that you can wait at. Cleaning staff passed through, but there were no issues. As a bonus, this is a typical thing for college students to do (flying out of nearby RPI), so you will likely not be alone in your sojourn!

May '97, Dec '97, and May '98: Generally very little traffic after midnight, although there's always the annoying background music playing. The cleaning crew comes around at 3 or 4 am -- guaranteed to wake you up with their vacuum machines, but they don't kick you out. No stores open after 10pm - 12am except vending machines, so bring your own food/drink. A decent airport to sleep in."
