Anchorage Airport
Lasting Impressions....
Memorable comments left by travellers:
"I didn't have to squeeze in under the armrests or fold myself up origami style to get some rest. " (Eve)
"Avoid C concourse on Wednesday nights as it is full of oilfield workers travelling to Prudhoe Bay on Thursday. You are safe there, but the snoring is truly world class!" (Kris Dye)

Was flying through on a day visit in March and as my flight got in at midnight it didn't seem worth it to try and find a room. Slept for a little while in the North Terminal, just got off the plane and parked it, but they close this off after the last departure of the night. TSA kindly let me know I could catch a free bus to the South Terminal and stay all night. Ended up sleeping in baggage claim. Comfy cushioned seats with no arm rests, this was one of the best airports I've ever slept in. The next morning I popped my stuff in luggage storage and went on my way.

"My experience at Anchorage could be rated as HELL. I don't remember the actual name of the terminal, but it was the ERA terminal in the middle level. It was 60 degrees outside and they had the air conditioning on full blast! Not to mention how hard it is to sleep on the floor with no pillow or blanket. So if I even made it asleep I would soon wake up from either being uncomfortable or freezing. So I ended up walking around the airport freezing and visiting the Starbucks every so often. Oh yeah, everyone working in the Cinnabon have no idea what they are doing .. so I had a time dealing with them."
