I was stuck in Barrow Alaska for several hours in December due to a weather delay - The terminal is very small (everything is in one room) and it seems to be a gathering spot for Barrow residents. Anyone who was leaving had their extended family with them to see them off. The benches and seats were hard and cold, but the staff was pleasant. It was very loud, mainly due to the proximity and number of passengers/families. There is a hotel within walking distance (200 feet).
