What to expect

Huntsville Airport (code: HSV) consists of a small two-level terminal with a single concourse. The airport features several eateries and shops on both sides of security. Most of these services operate hours that are dictated by flight schedules, so plan accordingly. WiFi is available and there are outlets for charging mobile devices near the gates. There are no private lounges at this airport.

Art at the Airport – The Airport Artway and Community Art Wall showcases art from regional artists.  Locations: The Artway is located on the 2nd Floor above the ticket counters and baggage claim.  The Art Wall is located along the walkway connecting the terminal to the parking garage.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside and Airside.

Baby Care Services – Mamava lactation stations offer nursing mothers a quiet place to care for their infants. The pods feature comfortable benches, a fold-down table, and an electrical outlet for plugging in a breast pump. Location: Airside, Gates 2A/B and Gate 4.

Currency Exchange – Not available.

Food & Drinks – Food concessions open 1 hour before the first flight departure and close when the last flight departs. Food options include: Gevalia Coffee Shops • McAlister’s Deli • Beer Garden • Four Points by Sheraton.

Information Desk – There are 2 information kiosks located airside and landside.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Mobile Charging – A reviewer (May 2018) advised us that there are outlets/charging ports available Airside. Look at the end of the rows of seats, they are placed sporadically.

Shopping – Explore Huntsville News & Gift Shops is available in the public waiting area, open from 9:00AM – 5:00PM Sat-Sun.

Showers – Not available.

Travel Agencies – If you are arriving in Huntsville and need local arrangements or help planning a really last minute trip abroad, there is an Elite Travel center at the airport that can probably be of assistance.

Keep in mind that TSA, airline check-in and baggage drop hours vary according to the flight schedule. Check these hours with your airline. If you are in the public area of the terminal (landside) you will not be able to get through to the secure area of the terminal (airside) until the morning.
