JAX airport is a nice place to sleep. They have long couch like seating so you can pretty much lay down on them. I had all my luggage with me because they wouldn't let me check in until 4 hours before the flight but I bought a cart and I used it to pretty much block me. The food areas closed at 830pm but the main store closed at around 900 or 930 (I slept there on a Saturday night). I bought a sandwich and bottled water before the stores closed in case I got hungry but they do have vending machines by the bathrooms. At night security walks around and there was a guy mopping the floor. The check in gates close around 9 so by that time, there's barely no one at the airport except for those who are waiting for people to arrive. The bathrooms were very clean and I was the only one in them while I brushed my teeth and washed my face. It's pretty bright at the airport so I suggest wearing an eye mask if it bugs you. It was very quite. Free WiFi for the holidays but it stopped working around 9pm. I'm 24 and a small female and I felt safe sleeping there.
