Los Angeles Train Station

"My husband and I spent four hours in the station waiting for our connecting train. We had been up since 3:00am. The seats were the most comfortable I have ever encountered at any transit station of any type: wide armrests, big soft sofa-type seats and backs. My husband slept in a chair while I explored the station. There were several sandwich-type shops and a convenience store and expressos were available. The courtyards were very nice, one shady and one sunny, both with several benches. The station lobby was beautiful, early-1900's, nicely restored. The people-watching was interesting, nice mix of tourists and business travelers. Nothing there to make me uncomfortable. "
