Lubbock Bus Station
you had to pay a quarter to get in the restroom and it was nasty. i opted to go outside behind the trash. it was cleaner.

"i have read another story of a person who got stuck in lubbock TX at the bus station and decided to share my story. i got stuck here as a result of a driver in el paso swearing i was to get on his bus, well i was not supposed to. so i had to wait in this hole in the ground called lubbock for the next bus to dallas which i had missed by 15 minutes and the next one. yeah you guessed it the next day at the same time. i looked for a motel, the closest one that was in my price range of about 45 was over 6 miles away and the cab wanted 25 so i opted to wait. there were plenty of beggars around and other homeless sleepers. i finally fell asleep at about 11:45 pm after being there for 2 hours. then at 12:30 am a shift change happened and the only employee there was a ticket agent who demanded to see my ticket and then demanded to know why i was in lubbock and not dallas. after that got straightened out he went and ran off the ticketless people so i felt safe for a bit. he then went to sleep behind the counter himself and didn't wake till about 5am when the next bus came in, but it was coming from dallas so i was s.o.l this place was dirty, dirty to the extreme. the men's room was broken so everyone was to share the women's. and that restroom was a nightmare. my advice if you travel greyhound is to make sure you know where your bus is and make sure you know where it's going before you get on it. "
