"I had flown across the country only to find my connecting flight to Boston out of Newark had been cancelled due to heavy snow that was forecasted to last a week. I decided to take the AmTrak. The train wasn't scheduled to leave until the wee morning hours so I decided to wait in the station. Police came in at 11pm and said they were closing the main lobby because of crime. Had to go wait in a 20'x20' room by the tracks. The place was soon overrun with aggressive vagrants. Was hassled by a wino. First he threatened me. Then he told me he loved me. Don't know which was worse. Finally had to leave -- checked into the Hilton (across the street) until the next day."
