While the people behind the counters at Delta couldn't have been less helpful -- caring neither about my canceled flight, when I'd get home, or where I could spend the night -- the lady in the Lost Luggage Office was amazing. Kind and helpful, she went out of her way to help me and my fellow displaced persons, supplying us with the last of her overnight kits, calling various airports in search of information, and telling us where to sleep (in the corner near the entrance doors in front of the ticket counters). There's apparently also a chapel on the lower level, with benches you can stretch out on, but I had no way to ensure I'd wake up down there; I needed the early morning noise to wake me up so I would make my 6:45 flight.

Be warned that everything closes down early in this airport: Be sure to visit the stores early to buy your blanket and your dinner and a bottle of water. There's a nice clean ladies' room, and after about 10:00 it's quiet (except for the loudspeaker announcements, but even those died out around 11:00). Oh, yeah -- I got some incorrect information from local security personel as to whether or not I could sleep in the airport; soon after, a very kind female TSA officer came to find me to correct the misinformation I'd gotten from the not-so-accommodating cop.

You absolutely cannot sleep near the gates (which is too bad -- it would be quieter and darker), and all the benches were designed to allow sitting but not reclining. But if you don't mind the (carpeted but hard) floor, you can grab 5-6 hours' sleep.
