I was attempting to get out of SLC and was running into full flights due to bad weather back east. Found a option that would take me from SLC last flight bound for Wichita. Arrived there at 11:55PM. and we had to go outside of security. As it is a small airport. The airline that we were flying did provide us with some small pillows and blankets as our flight that we were leaving on was to depart at 5:00AM.
I slept light as I was traveling with my 14 yoa. daughter.
Security made several checks of the area but did not disturb us. There was a cleaning crew in the area when we were get ready to sleep. They did say that there was a lounge in the ladies restroom that my daughter could have used. ( I wanted to keep her in ear and eye range.) They did try to help us make the best of it.
Around 3:15AM. TSA, and airline employees started to arrive for work. 3:45AM. passengers, We got up returned the pillows and the blankets and got through security. And went onto CVG.
Overall airports are not my choice to be sleeping in and I have slept in a few. BUT I would have to rate it as one of the better ones to get stuck in. (Without other passengers milling around)"
